Machine story: | (aug. 2010) The Machine was perfect working at the last Berlin show, by Karl Dieter in the cellar. After K.D.'s warning and seeing the bad condition of the electrical wiring I left the machine rest for a while. I consider the restoration as a winter job. (november 2010) After getting the right crank / handle I get the machine manual functioning as well. (04-jan-2011). The electrical cable parts are nearly impossible to repair I decided to remove the motor; the voltage converter etc., so that the machine can be operated by hand. (21-january 2011) Removing / cutting the interface part(motor-gear and machine) , which locked the machine when touching it the table below. Cleaning the green keyboard mat with hot water and soap and drying it instantly with high pressure air and heated air.. Justify the paper transport plate. It was probably bend during transport; Cleaning (removing the loosen chrome surface of a few parts of the printing unit (need some more time). (03-march 2011) The new glass side windows and the re-inked ribbon arrived. I reassembled the whole and the machine appeared fully functional manually. |
